The best time to visit Essaouira is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months. During these periods, the weather is mild and pleasant, with temperatures typically ranging from 60°F to 75°F (15°C to 24°C), making it ideal for exploring the city's medina, beaches, and cultural sites. These months also offer a balance between warm temperatures and fewer tourists compared to the peak summer season. Summer (June to August) can be slightly warmer but remains comfortable due to the cooling Atlantic breezes, making it suitable for beach activities and windsurfing. Winter (December to February) is cooler but still relatively mild, offering a quieter experience with fewer crowds. Overall, spring and autumn provide the most favorable conditions for enjoying Essaouira’s coastal charm and rich history, but in our opinion Essaouira is a year-round very cool destination.
